Julie graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has worked with Dr. Schneider since 1978 as a dental assistant prior to going to dental hygiene school.

Julie is currently the President of the Virginia Dental Hygienists' Association and has served throughout the community by volunteering at the clinic in Fredericksburg, visiting schools and facilities and participating in the Missions of Mercy project.

She resides in Chantilly with her husband Mark and her two sons, Danny, currently attending Elon University and Brian, currently at Chantilly H.S.
